Search in QMS

This section guides you through searching and finding information within Quality Records.

To perform search activities within the Quality Module, users must have the appropriate access permissions. This section specifically covers the process to search for Quality Events, CAPAs, and Action Items.

Note:

The Search and Filter Fields settings can be configured from the Form Settings screen, provided the user has the necessary access permissions.

To perform a Search in the Quality Module, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Home Page, navigate to the room to perform the search activity.
  2. Click the Waffle Menu located at the top-left corner of the screen, then select Quality Module.

  3. Click the Search button at the top-right corner of the screen to open the Search window.

  4. In the search screen, click the dropdown menu at the top-left to display the available search categories and select the Quality Records option.

  5. Select Quality Event, enter at least three characters of the title or ID of the record, and click the Search button.

  6. Click the checkbox next to the record and expand the quick view panel to view the metadata and other details.

Filter:

  1. After results are displayed, the filter panel is visible on the left side of the search window.
  2. To apply a filter, for example, to filter by Impact:
    • Click the dropdown arrow next to the Impact filter.
    • Select the desired filter options (e.g., Low).
  3. Once filters are applied, the grid will auto-refresh to show only the matching records.
