Identity Access Management (IAM) Rollout Plan

Question: How will customers know the upgrade is completed?

Answer: The Trial Interactive Service Desk will send out a support bulletin when the upgrade occurs. Additionally,

the Sign In page look and feel has been upgraded and so will be visible to end users.

Question: Will I be able to access all my environments from a single login also?

Answer: No. Each environment (Production, Staging, Demo/Test) will require a separate registration and login, to

enforce separation between production (validated) and non-production (unvalidated) accounts.

Question: Who will be affected by the upgrade?

Answer: Initially, only US, EU, and China MTI customers will be affected. No Dedicated/Enterprise clients will be

impacted. Once Dedicated customers have upgraded to the required versions of each application, they will

be upgraded.

Question: If IAM is being centralized, doesn't this introduce a single point of failure?

Answer: No. While the software implementation is centralized, the deployment is not. Many instances of IAM

will exist, behind load balancers, to ensure continuous access to all Trial Interactive products.

Question: How will Single Sign-On (SSO) be managed?

Answer: No SSO configuration or certificate changes will need to be made. The IAM component supports

configuring multiple SSO systems for a single application or user group, ensuring flexibility for customers

with diverse authentication requirements.

Question: What happens to users who do require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

Answer: No changes will occur upon upgrade. MFA can be enabled or disabled as needed. This provides flexibility

to meet individual customer needs or compliance requirements.

Question: Will the rollout cause any downtime for TI applications or environments?

Answer: No. The rollout will have no impact on live systems, ensuring continuous access to all TI products and

instances.

Question: How will support teams assist customers during this rollout?

Answer: Support teams will receive updated training and resources to address customer inquiries and provide

guidance on the any applicable new IAM capabilities.

Question: Are there any security enhancements with this rollout?

Answer: Yes. The new IAM component enhances security through improved MFA configuration, streamlined SSO

management, and customer-specific password policies.

Question: How will customers know if their training materials have been updated?

Answer: Customers will be notified through regular communication channels from their CSM once updates to job

aids, training materials, and UAT documentation are complete.
