SCORM Package

To add a SCORM Package, follow the steps below:
  1. Click on the Activities tab and select SCORM Package.
  2. On the Editing SCORM Package screen, configure the following settings.
    General
    Name Description.
    Name* Enter a name for the SCORM Package
    Description Provide a suitable description for the quiz activity.
    Display description on the course page Enable the checkbox to view the choice description on the course page.

    Package
    Name Description.
    Package file Drag and drop or upload the SCORM package file in XML or ZIP format.
    Auto Update Frequency

    Select either of the following to set the auto-update frequency of the SCORM package

    • Never
    • Every Day
    • Every time it’s used

    Appearance
    Name Description.
    Display Package

    Select either of the following

    • Current window
    • New window
    Display course structure on entry page Select Yes or No
    Display attempt status

    Select either of the following

    • No
    • Dashboard and entry page
    • Dashboard only
    • Entry page only

    Availability
    Name Description.
    Available from

    Enable or disable the setting by clicking on the checkbox.

    Specify a particular date and time from when the SCORM package will be available if enabled

    Available to

    Enable or disable the setting by clicking on the checkbox.

    Set a specific date and time until which the SCORM package will remain available if enabled.

    Grade
    Name Description
    Grading Method

    Select either of the following

    • Learning objects
    • Highest grade
    • Average grade
    • Sum grade
    Maximum Grade Enter a number that will be the maximum grade a student can score.

    Attempt management
    Name Description
    Number Of Attempts Select either Unlimited attempts or the number of attempts up to six.
    Attempts Grading

    Select either of the following

    • Highest attempt
    • Average attempts
    • First attempt
    • Last completed attempt
    Force New Attempt

    Select either of the following

    • No
    • When previous attempt completed, passed or failed
    • Always
    Lock after final attempt Select either Yes or No

    Compatibility settings
    Name Description
    Force Complete Select either Yes or No
    Auto-Continue Select either Yes or No
    Auto-Commit Select either Yes or No
    Mastery score overrides status Select either Yes or No

    Common Module Settings
    Name Description.
    Availability

    Select either of the following

    • Show on Course Page
    • Hide on Course Page
    ID Number Enter an ID number.
    Group Mode

    Select either of the following

    • No Groups
    • Separate Groups
    • Visible Groups
    Note: If Separate and Visible Group options are selected, they can be added as restriction criteria.

    Restrict Access
    Name Description.
    Add Restrictions Refer to the Restrict Access section.

    Activity Completion
    Name Description.
    Completion Tracking

    Select either of the following

    • Do not indicate activity completion
    • Students can manually mark the activity as completed
    • Show Activity as complete when conditions are met

    Require View

    Enable the Student must view this activity to complete it checkbox.

    Note: Visible if ‘Show Activity as complete when conditions are met’ is selected in Completion Tracking.

    Require Grade

    Check or uncheck the following

    • Student must receive a grade to complete this activity
    Note: This option becomes visible when the ‘Show Activity as complete when conditions are met’ option is selected in Completion tracking
    Require Minimum Score Uncheck the Disable checkbox and enter a score that will be a minimum requirement to pass this activity.
    Require Status

    Check or uncheck all options or either of the following

    • Passed
    • Completed
    • Require All Scos to Return Completion Status

    Expect completed on

    Click the Enable checkbox and enter the date, month, and time.

    A specific timeline to complete an activity can be set by enabling this setting.

    Note: Visible if ‘Students can manually mark the activity as completed’ is selected in Completion Tracking.
