Search in TI

This section guides you through searching and finding information within Trial Interactive.

The Trial Interactive platform provides a flexible search functionality with options to search across document content, and metadata. Users can perform full-text indexed searches within individual rooms or across multiple rooms by enabling the "Cross-Room Search" option. Filters can be applied to include or exclude documents from the search results, and users can switch between search modes such as "Metadata and Document,". The platform also features "Search History" and "Saved Searches" sections, allowing users to track recent searches or manage saved queries for future use.

This new search interface has the following powerful capabilities:

  1. Users can perform searches across multiple rooms simultaneously, ensuring comprehensive results across different projects or workspaces.
  2. Multiple search modes are available, including:
    • Metadata and Document: Searches both the document content and its associated metadata.
    • Document Content Only: Limits the search to the content within the documents.
    • Metadata Only: Searches only within the metadata fields of the documents.
  3. Enables fast and accurate searches by indexing the entire content of documents and metadata fields.
  4. Users can apply filters to refine search results, such as including or excluding specific document types.
  5. Keeps a record of recent searches, allowing users to quickly revisit previous queries.
  6. Users can save frequently used search configurations and manage them for future reference.
  7. An advanced search option allows users to define complex search criteria by configuring detailed parameters.
