View Queries By

The View Queries By allows users to filter queries based on requirements such as sender, recipient, status, site, or document type. Selecting a view updates the folder structure.

To configure the views, follow the steps below.

  1. Access the Queries module and navigate to the Document Queries tab.
  2. Click the View By dropdown.
  3. Select any one of the views from the below list
    • My Queries: Displays only the queries that are either assigned to or raised by the currently logged-in user.
    • By Sender: Displays queries grouped by the users who created them, with folders organized by sender name.
    • By Recipient: Displays queries filtered by the assigned recipients.
    • By Status: Allows users to sort queries based on their current status (e.g., Pending, In Progress, Resolved).
    • By Site: Filters queries according to the site associated with each query.
    • By Country: Filters queries based on the country linked to the query.
    • By Document Type: Organizes queries according to the document type associated with each query.
  4. Select the following View Option filters by selecting their checkboxes.
    1. Show My Queries Only: This option is available for all views except My Queries. Selecting this filter displays queries assigned to or raised by the logged in user.
    2. Workflow: This filter displays only workflow queries.
    3. Audit: This filter displays only audit related queries.
    4. General: This filter displays only general queries.
  5. To configure the selected view as default, choose one of the following options:
    • Set Default: Applies the selected view as the default for the current session.
    • Set Default for All Rooms: Applies the selected view as the default across all rooms.
  6. To configure the View Queries By name, click the pencil icon and modify the name.
  7. Click the pin icon to pin the view.
  8. Click Select once the view and filters are selected.

  9. Based on the view and filter selected, the folder structure will be displayed accordingly.
