Tasks Management
The Tasks settings allow administrators to configure the task categories (add, edit and delete), set the IRB/EC submission reminder tasks days and enable the View by Tag.
To access the tasks settings, access the settings module and select Tasks from the left-hand navigation pane which displays the following two options.
- Tasks
- Task Category

Tasks
To configure Tasks settings, follow the steps below:
- On the Tasks setting page, specify the number of days in the IRB/EC Submission Reminder Task (day(s) before deadline) field.
- Check the Enable View by Tag checkbox.
- Click Save.

- Click the Change Log option that displays a record of changes made to the Tasks settings.

Task Category
Task categories must be specified during task creation. These categories should be pre-created to ensure that users can select the appropriate one from the dropdown menu in the Task Creation window.
Add New Task Category
To add new task category, follow the steps below:
- On the Task Category window, click +Add from the top menu bar.
- Enter the task category name in the newly added row.

Edit Task Category
To edit a task category, follow the steps below:
- Select an existing task category from the list.
- Click Edit from the top menu bar.
- Make the required changes.

Deleting Task Category
To delete a task category, follow the steps below:
- Select an existing task category from the list.
- Click Delete form the top menu bar.

- Click Yes on the confirmation pop-up.
