Subject Matter
If Subject Matter is enabled in the Q&A Configuration, an additional setting for configuring the subject matter and subject matter experts is activated i.e., Subject Matter
This window consists of two panels:
- The Subject Matters panel from which subject matter categories can be added, edited, and deleted.
- Subject Matter Experts panel from which subject matter experts can be assigned to or unassigned from the specific subject matter categories.
Create Subject Matter
To create a new subject matter, follow the steps below:
- Select the Subject Matter option from the left-hand navigation pane.
- Click +Add.

On the Create Subject Matter window mandatorily specify the name.
- Optionally specify the description.
- Click Create.

Edit Subject Matters
To edit Subject Matter, follow the steps below:
- Select a subject matter from the list.
- Click +Edit.

- On the Edit Subject Matter window, update the Name and Description.
- Click Save.

Delete Subject Matter
To delete a Subject Matter category, follow the step below:
- Select a subject matter from the list.
- Click Delete.

- Click Yes on the confirmation pop-up.

Assigning Subject Matter Experts
To assign a subject matter expert to a subject matter, follow the steps below:
- Select a subject matter from the available list.
- Click +Add within the Subject Matter Experts panel.

- On the Select Users window, select the users from the list and click Select.

Delete Subject Matter Experts
To remove users as Subject Matter Experts, follow the steps below:
- Select the users added as subject matter experts.
- Click Delete.
